Having previous experience in the woodworking industry and a very strong design/fashion sense we felt this was a good IDEA! The idea was born in mid-2013. We were sure not the first to make fashion accessories out of wood but we are aiming to be the best! It’s all about us as a team and the products as pieces of art!

We handcraft all Plantwear products in our own workshop mostly out of natural raw materials. This makes our products HIGHLY original and unique.

The initial design process seemed very easy, we were eager to get started. It quickly turned out to be much more time consuming that we had thought. That meant working long hours and on weekends for a couple months without a break. We are confident it all paid off and our products are not only beautiful – but they’re also durable and practical!

Working in our workshop is a lot of fun! Never before had we thought working could be so pleasant. Yes – we do get tired. Yes – we do have bad days. But overall we LOVE doing what we do and we will keep on doing it. It’s you – our customers – that make it even more meaningful. We love getting pictures of your guys wearing our products, your ‘thank you’ emails, your ‘support’ messages, and hearing your stories.
